SAINTS ROW IV REVIEW

So i know i'm very late on this review but school has had me nuts well let us begin. So this time the saints have gone as far as the boss becoming the president of the united states of america. 5 years later america is invaded by the evil alien species "The Zin"  and so begins Saints Row IV. First of all i know many people did not enjoy the third installment in the saga "Saints row:The Third but i really liked the third and i am a big fan of the third one.This game returns with the big character customization that it always has.The coolest new  addition to the saga is superpowers. yes this time they have gone as far as to add super powers to the list of shenanigans and it is a welcomed addition. the super powers are divided in two groups  passive and aggressive. i will only tell you the first two passive one to keep the rest as a surprise they are super sprint and super jump. you upgrade these powers by collecting clusters of loose date much like the blast shards in infamous. there is one problem with this though they give them to the player way to early which makes any vehicle immediately useless and you cant enjoy the new customization features here. Another thing is that  the graphics  should have improved a little for game play but it's the same as the last game. Yet they did improve cut-scene quality allot. There were many expectations that people had for this game hoping they would return to their roots and make it more serious like the second game. i'm gonna say right now this game is a mix between the two games. it has a new well written story with very serious moments implemented at the perfect times but it also has allot of the silliness of of the third game like the all new fan favorite "The Dubstep Gun"! this game is a service from "volition" to the fans referencing all 3 past games which i'm not going to spoil for you guys but there is a really awesome reference for the fans of the second game about half way through the game which  they will really enjoy. there is tons of new weapons like the "The alien pistol" "the black hole gun" and "The abduction gun". Something very new in this game is the multiple weapon skins that change the look and the way the gun shoots. some of these skins are: "The cyber pistol" which is a heavy smg that fires electric bullets. "The spud gun" which is a potato shooting RPG and a water gun that shoots you guessed it  WATER BULLETS!. now this game has one huge problem they need to fix in the next patch which is the crashing on long elaborate mission my system froze 3 times during the end. They also need to fix the co-op glitches with players who already finished the game. some elements of a mission will be missing completely for a player who has beaten the game. In the end though i had tons of fun with this game i did almost everything all i needed were the challenges. i ended up having over 40 hours of game play the story itself took me about 12 to 15 hours to complete. In the end i really enjoyed this game and i give it an 8/10. It would be a 9 but they need to fix the crashing and the co-op game play. well that's it guys my first review a little bit extensive but i hope you enjoyed it be sure to comment any games or movies you want me to review next  see ya next time!   ~Ezio
